The Empryo app for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Android is in beta. It drives the chats on your computer: the agent still runs there, with your files, keys and settings, and the phone shows each step and sends what you type or say.

It needs iOS 26, watchOS 26 or Android 10 or later. Ask on Discord for an invite to the beta: iPhone testers get a TestFlight link, Android testers get the app to install.

What you can do from the phoneLink to this section

  • Drive any chat. Watch every step, steer a turn while it runs, or queue what comes next. See steering.
  • Answer from anywhere. Questions and approvals come to the phone, with numbered answers.
  • Switch projects. Open any project your computer trusts, or start one in the background.
  • See what runs. Engines, under Projects, lists every engine on your computer, what it is doing and which windows hold it. Stop one, or restart the phone's own engine; its chats open again in a fresh one.
  • Pick the model. Choose the model, effort and routing for a chat.
  • Talk instead of typing. Speak a prompt, or go hands-free so each pause sends. See voice input.
  • Attach pictures. Add a photo or take one with the camera.
  • Run on a schedule. Create and edit routines that run every hour, every day, on weekdays or once a week.
  • See what it made. Screenshots, pages, drawings and PDFs the agent makes in a chat are its artifacts. The stack chip under the composer, or /artifacts, lists them by the prompt that made them; tap one to open it on the phone.
  • Check on the computer. Status shows how much memory and CPU Empryo and all apps use, how hot the computer runs and its battery. The heat level is Normal, Warm, Hot (the computer may slow down to cool itself) or Very hot (it is slowing down). On a Mac it is the level macOS reports; on Linux and Windows it comes from the CPU temperature, which is shown too, when the computer reports one.

Know when it is doneLink to this section

When a turn finishes, fails or needs you, the phone gets a notification. A Live Activity shows the running chat on the Lock Screen, in the Dynamic Island and in StandBy, and the Apple Watch shows the same status.

Apple Watch and Wear OSLink to this section

The watch talks only to your iPhone, so it works wherever the phone reaches your computer: on Wi-Fi, over Tailscale or through the relay. Tap the mic and speak a prompt; your computer turns it into text, you check it, and it goes to the chat you picked, or steers that chat if it is working. You can also type or scribble instead, pick another chat, stop a chat that is working, and answer a question or approve a step. Models and settings stay on the phone. Wear OS watches do the same through the Android app and use the watch's own speech recognition. Prompts sent from a watch say so on the computer and the phone, and the terminal and desktop show the watch next to the phone while it is connected.
