Release notes
Happy Halloween! The short version:
- Steer big orchestration runs from a live graph on the desktop, with the same graph on your phone.
- Reorder every project, the main one included, by dragging on the desktop, iPhone and Android.
- Install with Homebrew or pacman, kept up to date with every release.
- Theme scenes and moving worlds behind your chats on iPhone, iPad, watches and Android.
- Sub-tabs report back as one digest, close on their own when done, and stay quiet by default.
- MCP servers refresh their tools live and accept
${VAR}in their settings. - Diagrams fit the screen, with a fullscreen viewer.
Orchestration
- A graph you can steer: follow every step of a big run, answer its questions and stop or restart it from the graph.
- Stopped and branching steps have their own look, on the desktop and on phones.
- Lines stay readable at every zoom, and stage stripes show only when you want them.
Projects and tabs
- Drag to reorder projects on the desktop, iPhone and Android, and pick the project when you start a new chat.
- Sub-tabs an agent opens close on their own once their work is reported, and their notifications are muted by default.
- Every sub-tab turn reaches its parent as one digest, and answers survive stops, restarts and a closed parent.
- Chats started in a project or a worktree get a name automatically.
Phones and watches
- Theme scenes behind chats, live status looks and moving worlds on iPhone, iPad, watches and Android. They follow the Blur slider.
- Questions stand out: they arrive as time-sensitive and orange on phones, watches and live activities.
- Discard a voice recording by touching and holding.
- Tapping a notification opens the right chat, even from another project or in the middle of a project switch.
Desktop and terminal
- Mermaid diagrams fit the screen and open in a fullscreen viewer.
- `/computer resume` lets computer use act again after
/computer stop, in the terminal and on the desktop. - `/artifacts` turns artifacts on and off.
- Right-click pastes the clipboard when nothing is selected.
Tools and MCP
- MCP servers refresh their tools live, read shell variables, accept
${VAR}in their settings and support OAuth clients. - Stop really stops, slow steps get deadlines, and failed searches no longer read as success.
- A turn that keeps repeating itself is ended and reported.
Installing and updating
- Homebrew:
brew install proxysoul/tap/empryo, and the desktop app as a cask. - pacman: a signed repository for Arch Linux.
- Updates stage the new build and restart in place on every surface.
- The Microsoft Store versions of the terminal and the desktop app update with each release.
Bug fixes
- Chat errors stay on the chat that raised them.
- Retries wake when you switch models, steer or press Retry now; unknown models fail at once.
- Tool calls left without a result no longer hang a turn.
- Huge file reads stream instead of stalling.
- Voice input no longer crashes the iPhone app.
- Plus many smaller fixes across the desktop app, the terminal, the phone apps and model providers.
