Release notes
Empryo can now answer with live, interactive views, the phones get an overview of every chat, and a restart no longer costs you an unsent message.
Live views
- Ask a question, get something that works. Empryo can answer with live charts, diagrams, forms and small apps, inline in the chat or in a canvas beside it.
- Talk back to a view. Change a slider or a field and ask the model about it from inside the view.
- Views remember. Their state survives a restart, and the model can see it. Charts can copy their data out, and Mermaid diagrams draw as real diagrams.
Your whole workspace on your phone
- A new chats overview on iOS and Android shows every chat, grouped by project and worktree.
- Diagrams on the phone, goals you can adjust from anywhere, and easier account switching.
- A demo chat to try Empryo before you pair a computer.
Fewer ways to lose work
- Unsent messages come back after a restart.
- Stopping a reply keeps what it had already written.
- Long thinking is never cut off.
- A provider that stops responding no longer freezes the chat.
Also new
- Desktop: the full tab menu everywhere, including Branch into a new tab, and quicker tab switching with many tabs open.
- Terminal: resize the Neovim editor by dragging its edge. Typing, clicks and paste reach it reliably.
- Agents: run bigger councils, or several at once.
- Languages: Arabic, French, Korean, Russian and Chinese are now nearly fully translated.
Fixes and polish
Many smaller fixes across the desktop app, the terminal, the phone apps and model providers. Usage and speed figures are more accurate, phone connections are steadier, and layouts on narrow windows and tablets are fixed.
Thanks
Shoutout to nerminba on GitHub (@artdiffuser on X) for sponsoring Empryo again and keeping it alive and growing. Thank you!
